In the Air Force, I studied for 47 weeks to read, write and speak the Korean language at DLI. Korean was my second of 5 choices of languages to study, the first being German. The other choices were Chinese, Russian, and Farsi.

USAF - 6903 ESG, SkivvyNine, Osan AB, Korea

Skivvy Nine was my first duty station after a year and a half of training. I loved it so much, I re-uped for 3 consecutive tours of duty. I tell everybody that I was raised in Sarasota, but I grew up in Song Tan. And from what I remember, between the OB and Soju induced fog, it was a great time. This is a couple of volumes of photos that help me remember.
